A Soft Heart Cruelly Broken

Soft heart beating heavily
Eyes can't be drawn away
Plump lips begin to pucker
Seeing him, makes her day..

Wrapped around his finger
Cruelly stringing her along
His heart set on another girl
Can't he see that this is wrong?

Sending letters of her love
Sweetly smiling when she can
Only to be slowly broken down
When from her kiss he ran..

All she wanted was his love
A single kiss or gentle glance
Instead he broke her heart
By taking away her only chance..
