Once a Happy Girl

by Artemis   Sep 3, 2006

Once a happy girl
Playing in the sand,
She had everything,
Her life was all planned.

She would go to school,
Pass and then succeed,
She would be a nurse,
And help those in need.

This story soon changed,
When she met the truth,
Life wasnâ??t perfect,
And it took her youth.

Her daddy was mean,
When he came home drunk,
He would hit her hard,
And treat her like junk.

She couldnâ??t take it,
Threw her life away,
Her dad disappeared,
He became the prey.
