lantern. It has a strict syllable pattern of 1, 2, 3, 4, 1.

    Nat, there was only one thing I didn't like in this poem, and that was the word 'upon'. It didn't really fit for me. But it was still a good poem.

    Wow! This was such a short poem, but it held so much emotion in it! And it really did put the picture of waves crashing amongst a shore and then slowly working their way back into the water! Kind of made me want to go to the beach as well lol. Keep up the good work Darling. 5/5 =]

    Beautiful, though I really tend to be afraid of the ocean, I feel calm by your poem. The soft waves crashing on the rocks: So soothing.
