Lonely

by Suchapoetictradgedy   Sep 8, 2006

Broken windows, Bloody window panes,
Un-kept grass, unloved deteriorating
House, the only things that hint at a LOST
Life, lived here before the mess.

An untold story, an untouched Home,
A broken heart, a bleeding LOVE.
Unseen pain, and unheard tears,
Only the whispers linger here.

Tear-filled eyes, and bloody hands
Dirty conscience a broken man.
Wishing children, unsure mom,
He left his wife, and his home.

The sunrise comes and illuminates
Blood on the dusty window panes,
Voices crack and tears roll down, such
A tragedy should never happen in a town.

Nobody knew the terror to face,
As soon as the sun left this place.
Nightly screams, daily laughs, only
A small boy left alone at last.
