Its been a while
since i felt this way
but i know that i want to be with you
and my feelings are here to stay

i met you not long ago
but you made a change in my life
got me hoping for happiness and
your thinking about making me your wife

you always put a smile upon my lips
and promising me you are not like the rest
when it comes to making me feel good
you are the best

i don't ever want to hurt you
because you mean so much to me
your always putting me first
and promising we'll always be

you make me complete
and bring out the best of me
always telling me i have to work for love
because nothing come free

always telling me you love me
and you want us to last
promising me you'll always love me
and never put me in your past
