A Minute to Late

by ~DyingBlackRose~   Sep 14, 2006

Blood running down my hand
Touching the blade as the cut opens
Relief fills my body as the blood runs free to roam the earth
No tears from my bloodshot eyes makes me realize how much I can take
Never wishing for a better life only wishing for my life to end
Never happy only sad, because you're not with me
Darkness seeps in around my body to keep me concealed in its grip
Demons surrounding me leading me into their deadly kiss
Vampires cold as ice surround my once warm body to make it numb and blue
Blood freezes in my veins as my heart stops beating
Barley breathing now, my eyes slowly shut leaving me blind to the world
The death drawing me nearer and nearer as the time goes by
Tick-tock slowly leaving the world behind
Not able to feel, not able to see or move
Light slowly flows around me, engulfing me in it's warm touch.
Coldness leaves my body
Blood still pouring
You walk over to me praying I'm still alive
But with every step you knew it was to late
Laying there mangled and torn
Heart broken and no love in my heart
You knew it was a minute to late
