Receptionists Job

by Daisy if you do   Sep 19, 2006

It's my job as a receptionist,
to answer the calls and try not to miss,
Mostly they are happy but yet some get pissed,
And it is these calls I try to resist,
Someone has to do it, they say of my career,
To listen to those and have a kind ear,
Desparingly I page for some one to answer the call,
I page and page and direct to them all,
Paging and dialing until I run out of breath,
This job of mine will be my death,
Extensions, pages, voicemails and a call,
Messages, mailing, and trying to stall,
The call remains unanswered but all is not lost,
I just direct this one to the big boss.
