Telephone,

by Esther   Sep 23, 2006

Torture it is waiting,
Even though I know it will ring,
Let it ring I pray, for it makes me feel like a King!
Even though she said she would?
Perhaps she forgot?
How could she though?
On my own, I worry,
Now I silently say hurry,
Even though she said she would?

I still wait by it worrying,
Please ring me on the telephone!

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title.

Don't you just hate waiting for a phone call? I know I do. This was quite insightful. The rhythm and flow was really good.

Good job, and thanks for entering my contest.
