Contents Of My Heart

Slowly letting you go, trying to leave you behind
Yet every time I see you, my heart hotly explodes
Powerful urges and feelings I have to leave confined
I know now that we have to go down separate roads..

Starting to forget, erasing my pain, clearing the slate
Finding my feet again, wiping away all the stale tears
Yet one sweet smile and I have been caught by your bait
And out of nowhere, a fluttering heart quickly appears..

I do not want to feel this anymore, I am so tired of love
The yearning that I have for you can never be fulfilled
A heart that is devoted to you, until we float up above
And the secret contents of my heart I have just spilled..
