Four minutes before dawn

Out there… in silence… away from prying eyes
A dark alluring beauty behind shadows lies…

First minute – the sun now rises from the dead
Its shy rays warp themselves around your head
Thy weary eyes try to see through morning mist
But have no chance to overcome her evil twist.

Second minute – too late to run now, far too late
As her web clutches you as does thy dreadful fate
She approaches you as she can sense your fear
Of letting her have her way or simply get too near.

Third minute – try to breathe while you still can
Although her venom is deadly in the world of man
And her beauty seems to be torn from heaven skies
But it’s just a deceiving veil to cover what inside lies.

Last minute – should take this time to say goodbye,
Cannot escape the reaping of Death so don’t try,
Don’t struggle for she constricts her web even more
And stops not until no sign of life is left inside thy core.

Out there… in silence… away from prying eyes
A dark alluring beauty behind shadows lies…
