We were supposed to be best friends forever
We thought we were so clever
We thought we knew the right trick
We thought we were so slick

But we really didn't have a clue
As soon as you got a man we were through
How where we supposed to stay close
By e-mail I suppose

I havent seen you in weeks
If we talk the conversation barely peeks
Is this what you call a best friend?
Time we never spend

This so called friendship is under construction
Strait up destruction
Hanging on by a thread
Better off dead

And that is what it is to me
Finding things here and their left behind in the debris
Nothing of value to hold on to
So I guess we are threw

Its really sad
That you I had to add
To that rising stack
Of people who have stabbed me in the back
