Nobody Knows

Take long walks
And hold each others hands.
Fight the dark together.
Like we're in other lands.

Lie next to me tonight.
Walk with me today.
I hope you know you're never on your own.
Nothing else to say.

Take me in your arms.
Say the words that would make me smile.
I'll take care of you, don't you worry.
Would you like my style?

Could you tell me,
Would our feelings grow?
Tell me what makes you tick.
Smile baby, put on a show.

You give me a growing heart,
A joyous smile.
You know I can't resist it though.
I memorise your words, they're in files.

I usually run away from strong emotions,
and get extra scared.
but i'm trying to bolt through the motions
a little less fear and more feared.
