Follow the Moonbeams

by PS   Oct 15, 2006

Tickling the emerald leaves out there
shining through your windowpane
there where to lie alone, waking
to be feel the light of the moon

so follow, follow the moonbeams
out to the stars, your destiny
through the door, leave it behind
the metal and steel and humankind

throught the street of deep asphlt
restraining the breath of the earth
slip in through that tear in space
to that grove of silver trees

where apollo once chased the chaste
before she became a rooted tree
where adam and eve touched so close
damning all of history

here where history, spirit resides
she waits, watching, breathing for you
come here and lay in the fallen leaves
and wait for your goddess to love thee

for she will come with the moon's bright light
to hold, to feel, to tresure thee
for now time and spirits holds thee true
forever in beams of moonlight, forever you.

Another unique write and it was such a good idea. It is like an invitation to a peacful, secluded destiny that is top secret. Loved it as usual!!!

I love the mystical feel to this. It's like you're in a dream and you follow the moonbeam. It creates an air of serenity around a person. Beautiful.
