Temporary insanity

by lisa marie   Oct 16, 2006

Wake up they say
A vague memory of you and me
Hot tea under a willow tree
And you laugh
This is sunshine
We're not alone, we're alive
Though,
You are alone.
Lifeless to the world.

With closed eyes
I feel the grey skies
Tightly wrap around my soul
Today, we're not in control
Again they are in my head,
eating apart my withered mind

And
I cannot escape
This once lonesome body
And so I sit trapped inside
Temporary insanity
