Mr Cheese

by Bethan   Oct 30, 2006

There was a man made of cheese
Who had no elbows or no knees
It was because of this he found,
It very hard to get around,

He managed quite well overall,
He used to slide and sometimes crawl,
Until one day his square sponge friend,
Brought his misery to an end,

He gave a gift to Mr Cheese,
To give the poor man some ease.
His friend Bob was very smart,
And gave his friend a four-wheeled cart,

This meant that Mr Cheese,
Could dilly dally as he pleased,
Until one day on an excursion,
Events took on a different version,

He had been to see dear old Bob,
To help him with a little job,
As he was driving slowly along,
Everything started to go wrong,

Going downhill very fast,
Fearing these moments as his last,
On his way down he began to pray,
That he would see another day,

I am very saddened to report,
Things didn't turn out as we thought,
For at the bottom you will see,
Mr Cheese is Dairy-lea.

Great fun to read Gaillard. A lovely, light humoured piece. I loved it. You even managed to include Sponge Bob Square Pants. Sadly though, I don't actually have a favorite stanza. Sorry, but it was just all too good.
