That Sigh

by Flying Phoenix   Nov 8, 2006

The endless sigh drifts with the wind
Winding, whistling, on the breeze
That sigh of moments lost
Opportunities thrown into the air
Carried away with that sigh
That sigh of goodbye

There leaves a woman
Struggling with the past
Eyes gazing downwards
Contemplating her life
Her choices
That sigh passes by

What could this instant mean?
Is this a flash of false hope?
Or an uncertainty waiting
Waiting to become joy?

Does she dare wait,
Dare to desire,
Attempt to cry with frustration?

Clearness is lost
Tossed alone into the storm
As that confused girl
Sighs again
