Death Eater

by Daenerys Stormborn   Nov 9, 2006

From deep inside I feel the venom boiling to my lips
The thick, blackened blood from a fly-ridden corpse rips
And the taste of ancient pus and veins fills my jaws
Crusty bones snap inside a starving mouth that gnaws
The entrails brew in my saliva, forming brown chowder
As my fingers turn the flakes of skin to ashen powder
The yellow eyes that watch in shadows gape in fear
Watching my teeth savage the carcass of a long-dead deer
