Absence

ABSENCE- Amanda Faye

I'll see you again was all we said
I wanted to tell you my feelings but I cried instead
As I waved goodbye I looked down with a sigh
as you got in the car and then drove by

I finally feel like I am where I belong
But now here I am writing this sad song
I really wish I didn't have to move away
because it's your face that I'll miss each day!

Now you know what I'm truly feeling
When I left you my heart tore
You make my heart race, my thoughts dance, everything starts changing
Its your soul that I adore
Distance is just a word
Love is forever stronger
Although reality has to be heard,
Well, absence can make the heart grow fonder

It's good to read some poetry that can touch you. It felt like your heart was really in it.
