Thy Devil.

by Teria   Nov 17, 2006

He prowls the earth looking to devour.
Searching for all week, ready to gain power.
He fills each mind with his devilish ways.
Seeping into all who hide and silently prays.

He buries the truth with rubbish and lies.
Uses good as his fearful, ugly disguise.
He mixes bad and worse obdurate.
Because, his morsel hearts filled with hate.

His hearts too cold to blink a beat.
His mind too corrupted to ever defeat.
His soul is too lost to ever be found.
And his evil inside always surrounds.

Beware of thy devil, he's prowling for you.
Keep your mind and soul covered all the day through.
Use your armor and shield, protect every move.
Or, hell will be the only thing you choose.

Great Job! Love the story, and how you described everything, I felt as if I was there...

    Bad News First:

Searching for all week, ready to gain power.

What is it because It doesn't make sense... Searching for weeks... or searching for the weak??

He fills each mind with his devilish ways.
Seeping into all who hide and silently prays.

    Confusing!

    Maybe try:

He fills each mind with his devilish way
Seeping into all who hide and pray
    and
Or, hell will be the only thing you choose.
    he'll*

    Good News:
I loved it!! I usually choose which stanzas/lines I love the best... but I just can't choose! Great rhyming, great flow, great story.

    Loved It!
