Footprints In My Heart

by Jesse Miller   Nov 18, 2006

Gods hand had drawn carefully when composing such art
Your beauty leaves breeze upon the footprints in my heart

I feel soft feet leaving an unwanted mark
My wall is worn which bore a world too dark

I need to bleed without you tearing my life apart
Though your impressions too deep like footprints in my heart

Change is too swift to gift the unprotected
Leaving me lonely forlorn and neglected

Our first day - so full - deep - and magical was the start
Now all you left me are these footprints in my heart
