I have to live on

As I write this down
Memories flow through my mind
All the thoughts of you
And the life left behind

Now things are different
But what can I say
You walked away and left me
On that dreadful day

We had plans to be together
We had plans of our life
We were to live together
I was to be your wife

But you had to leave
and that I understand
But you could have told me
On the other hand

There was no goodbye
You were just gone
And now I deal with life
