Curtain call.

by Krzysztof J   Dec 2, 2006

The stage is finally set,
The rehearsals are all complete,
The final wardrobe check is done,
I'm shaking at the knees.

It really isn't far,
Till the final curtain call,
There'll be just me on stage,
In this final episode.

I get one final chance,
To make things right anew,
I'll see you in the crowd,
I hope you do not Boo,

I wish I had a choice,
This part is not for me,
Don't want to be alone,
To play this final scene.

There'll never be an encore,
A second chance to try,
This is the final act,
Where Romeo he must die.

I hope you all enjoyed,
My shows all in the past.
Angel i always loved you,
Until the end and from the start.

As always you drew the reader into your poems and allowed them a glimpse of your heart and emotions.
And what a glimpse this one was!
This whole poem had me gripped from start to finish.
It had a wonderful concept and the wording was as always excellent.

Hun... Romeo doesn't have to die. At least not this Romeo! Trust me. Oh Lord, please help him... just make him see his value... please Lord.
