Absence of Love

by Aodh Hyperion   Dec 3, 2006

Why trying to build a stronghold
If you're made of sand and cold?
Why trying to reach the sky
If you're weak to create wings and fly?
Why you try to say I'm like the sun
If you're just a shadow and everytime you see me you run?

I used to be afraid to face another day
without you
But now I see that you didn't care
about anything around you

I'm tired of your indecision and childish behaviour
You don't even know what you want
And how to end this situation
So now I leave you and do you this favor
I look at the stars and contemplate their chant
They bestow me with a perfect lover and a new sensation
The absence of love will be gone.. I know it!

I can dream about you all night now
I don't need to worry about
A sudden change of heart
Or feelings falling apart
The places and times we are together
Tells me that now I've got a love which will last forever

But one day I would meet my past
on this boat
And I figured you're still that feeling-fast
guy who made me your cruel joke

I'm sorry for you
Even the years couldn't change you (not a bit)
I used to feel we were meant to be
But no way telling you now
You're blind and there's nothing else to see
That time I loved you but you told me you didn't out loud
