Demons inside

by jason   Dec 6, 2006

The demons are already inside starting to awake
Starting to replace all that made me who I am today
Leaving no sign or trace of what I use to be
Showing all of my disgrace
In the air for the world to see

Turning its back on my friends
Causing them so much pain
Playing with their hearts like it s a little game
Bringing them up them dropping it to the dark
Watching them fall apart

Taking over all my feelings senses
Making me work in crooked dealings
Taking control of everything but my eyes
Making me watch all the hearts around me die
Hoping someone stands up and ends it
and helps me to once again cry

The demons are so cruel
They use my body as their tool after I have fallen
And lost all hope
Given it all up like a fool
Letting them take control

My eyes are widened in awe and amazement, you just can't see them.

I really loved the intention behind the words of this poem.how the demons awake to take controland all your soul can do is watch as they destroy and hurt everything.good work. the only downside i'd personally say is that its flow wasn't perfect. it halted in some places. but nevertheless i love it
