Fly Away

by Christina McDowell   Dec 6, 2006

Let's runaway together
or spread our wings to fly forever
Feel the breeze on your face
and feel as light as lace

Close your eyes and relax
Float away; slide through the cracks
Stop the tears
Let go of your fears

Fly through the dawn
Across green lawns
Fly with me in the night
And kiss me in the moonlight

Hold my hand
So we can fly across the lands
Watch the beautiful sunset
To remind you when we first met

Fly with me everywhere
Always as a pair
Live with me forever
Always being together

Through good and bad
As a mom and dad
Fly through the sky
And we'll do that til we die

Through rain and sun
Through sadness and fun
Hold me tight
Throughout the night....
