Last day on earth

If I had just one more day left here on earth,
I'd forget about my death and think about birth
Of all the little things I've always wanted to do
I'd forget about others, and to myself I'd be true

If I had just one chance to touch the sparkling sky
I'd surround the stars with questions of how and why
I'd wish upon the first in view, I'd wish with all my might
That the last day would be good, the last day of my life

If I had just one ticket, to go anywhere I pleased
I'd visit the pyramids or even go to Italy
I'd pour my heart out to statues who always stood so tall
Who never could speak a word, yet they could also never fall

If I could tell one person that I loved them from the heart
The choice of who I'd tell would probably tear me apart
There's so many people who have impacted my life
Who have cried my tears of joy and have helped me in my fights

The truth is, with my last 24 hours I wouldn't know what to do
All I know is that I would enjoy it with you
