strike me dead
down this path
my life has led
life long mistakes
my spirit pins
please forgive me
all my sins

strike me dead
lay me to rest
asleep in my bed
ive been faithful
in deep belief
please bestow
eternal relief
Please Lord, hear me,
strike me dead
lay me here
as my blood runs red
release my pain
and take my soul
relinquish love's
unending toll
