Torn

by The Sky is Falling   Dec 8, 2006

In a heap on the floor
Lays a beautiful angel
Torn from the sky
The only place she loved
Her wings lay open
Broken and mangled
Master said no
Master said not tonight
You cant go
She needed to fly
Needed to sore
And gave up that last night to fly
And now her wings lay torn and broken
On the floor
What will she do
Now that she cant fly
An angel without wings
Is like a bird that cant fly
Stuck on the ground
Forever bound
Once broken wings
Never can be mended
Master laugh
While she cries
Stupid girl he says
You gave up your wings to fly one last day
Glaring at him with an ice cold stare
Not knowing her intent
He told her to come here
Shining silver in her hand
Lay a knife so sharp
And will be his last stand
Sitting in his lap
Her neck bent to the side
Master smiled fangs exposed
A faint smile trailing on her face
His fangs sink deep
But her knife deeper
A low cry and a thud
She falls to the ground
Fear runs threw her body
Mistake
For she didnt kill him
But herself
A crack
A snap
She lands wrong on the floor
A broken neck matching her broken wings
The light leaving her eyes
But a smile still on her face
Now shes free and able to fly with her wings.
