Night till Dawn

The stars shine,
bright and Beautiful.
The full moon casts a bold light upon you.
Is it your true beauty I see?
Or is it the moon falsifying it?
The moon is covered with clouds,
Yet your beauty stays.
Is it outer beauty I see?
Or is it inner?
As you take me in your arms,
Your inner beauty is revealed.
As you say those words,
Your outer beauty is revealed.
We hold each other till the dawn.
The light separates us.
Now we wait till the next night,
When we can be together again.

    You're a romantic one, I can tell. Mainly because you portray the feeling of love in an almost perfect manner. It's delightful to read....far different than a lot of the darker poems I read.
