Only A Tease

I always thought you liked me
we laughed and talked all night,
I told you my deepest secrets
this I felt was right.

I never thought you didn't
until that horrible day,
the words that you said
left me with nothing else to say.

I wish my mind would forget
all my memories spent with you,
the feelings I have in my heart
you said were never true.

Maybe some day I'll try
maybe some day you will see,
but until that day comes
you will forever be.

Only a tease.

    For some reason I really liked this poem. I think because of the ending. You used good word choices . It just seems at the end you will still profess your love . Then when you say you will forever be just a tease. Great job Bryan
