Forbidden love

by Landi Cordier   Dec 14, 2006

You cleared my mind,
you confused my thoughts,

when I think of you my mind goes blank,
my mouth goes dry
and my heart skips a beat,

when I see you I feel like I'm going crazy,
knowing that I would never be blessed by a love like yours!
I wish I could tell you,
but every time I try, the words just come out wrong

Forbidden love so hard to hide,
if I could push my feelings aside,
I know my love must never show,
oh, the curveballs it will throw

you're an older man and I'm a younger girl
you're experienced, I'm innocent
you're big, I'm small
you're right, I'm wrong

when you look at me my whole being freezes,
my heart goes warm,
my body overdoses with excitement
and for a fraction of a second,
the world around me comes to a complete standstill.

Forbidden love so hard to hide,
if I could push my feelings aside,
I know my love must never show,
oh, the curveballs it will throw

*Again the flow and rhyme scheme need work but I especially like this stanza:
Forbidden love so hard to hide,
if I could push my feelings aside,
I know my love must never show,
oh, the curveballs it will throw

And the repetition of said stanza. Nice job!
