New Dad

In life I've done alot things
I've been around the way I've seen what this world brings

There's been ups and downs, highs and lows
Before this point I just went with the flow

Things changed when I became a dad
Emotions came over me I never had

It's unbelievable to hold this life I helped create in my arms
I rather die myself before I let this child come to harm

I'm no longer just a man, I'm a dad
It's time for me to step up and become something I never had
