Weeping room

by kiara   Dec 15, 2006

I entered a weeping room
The only missing memory is a tomb
There once was laughter and joy
But here after these memories just annoy
Four souls played, talked and wept together
They flew in their minds like a feather
Three decided it was time to leave
They begged the forth to not grieve
But she was left alone in shadows
Hoping that light would find the windows
She tried to keep on playing
Invisible voices would keep on saying
It was time to move on and stop playing
But still in the corner she kept praying
Maybe one day three souls will return
Maybe then it will be there turn
To hide in the shadows remembering
Their tributes to spring and the way they would sing
But for now I can see the young me
The fourth soul when there once was glee
Dancing with my family, just being silly
But now the last petal has fallen off the lily
The light is gone
And its time to say goodbye to the dawn
