My Sleeping Baby

This was written for my second Grand-daughter. "Lindsey"

My beautiful baby,
with eyes of blue.
You came in the world,
as number two.
You'll always be number one,
in Grammy's heart.
You had my love,
from the very start.
I look at you sleeping,
and dreaming away.
No cares in the world,
to young to play.
I see grandpa,
in your tiny face.
He is your guardian angel,
keeping you safe
Watching you from,
his heavenly place.
praying you will feel,
Gods loving embrace.
