I'm the one,
Who kills your soul,
Before your body falls.

I'm the one,
Who breaks you down,
knowing all your flaws.

I'm the one,
Who takes away,
Everyone you know.

I'm the one,
Who takes your heart,
And turns it into stone.

I'm the one,
Who finds your dreams,
And makes them into dust.

I'm the one,
That you hold dear,
That you thought you could trust.

I'm your mother,
I'm your father,
I'm the who let you down.

You all know me,
yet you still don't see,
that this is the way things will be.

You will be cheated,
you will be used,
by the people closest to you.

A friendly warning,
From one who knows.
That things are never what they seem..

Your closest friend,
Will one day be..
your greatest enemy.

    ^^That is true the one who knows you inside out will be the one to crush you form inside out. It just takes a situation to turn a friend into an enemy. Then again we are our own enemies!

    Nice. It has an interesting flow to it. I almost got bored with the repetition but you finished it up clean and made your point in a very artistic and creative way. Nice finish.. 4/5

    Great poem...definately a 5/5...great moral too...it's true as well, things aren't always what they seem...especially when it comes to pikin the rite friends!!! Anyway keep writing the way u do LUV IT!!!
