1865

by Pianist   Dec 17, 2006

Jaunty? Such one as you laughing?
Where do you find the courage for such a thing?
Be as it may our country rests upon your hearty breath
no more.

The Ford will be unkind to you old one,
and Friday none the better.
It has been a long year hasn't it?

Mary, clutching at you so sickens me,
"you sockdologizing old mantrap."
At least your last moments will be at hand,
that which you deny us all.

Six feet is further than eleven
Or so my leg tells me.
"Sic Semper Tyrannis,"
Useless, useless.

I'm guessing it is Lincoln's assassination. Well done.

I'm not good at guessing! I think I know what you are talking about. Excellent job.
