Good bye moon

by kiara   Dec 18, 2006

Im standing in the classroom
Reading every ones tears of gloom
Each tear represents a moment we have shared
Whether it was from when we were joyful or scared
You were like the moon to us
Gallant, beautiful, and true
Within your silver glory we could never find a sign of stress
We knew when the sun would set we could always look up to you
But now the clouds have slept before you
Leaving us in black and blue
We wish you would stay in this old memory
But I suppose the moon has many a story
Each chapter you shall meet someone new
But promise me you wont forget me
The class, the child who flew to the stars thanks to you
The quest beyond the trees and sea
To the land where the sun is shining when its dark
Is where your new future shall embark
But a question in my mind remains
What will it be like without my veins?
What will it be like Without the moon?
Without the lady whose voice is like June?
But most of all what would it be like with out you?
So as Shakespeare says adieu adieu

this is dedicated to the teacher who brought me so many smiles. We shall miss you and your new students in london are very lucky to have you. Goodbye miss constantine
