Limerick

by Pianist   Dec 19, 2006

A Limerick is based on five lines,
and if you do so, you'll be fine.
- But if you displace
- the rhythm and pace,
It won't be a limerick like mine.

Pity you didn't check the rhythm of the poem - because it doesn't flow very well...

    to keep the limerick flowing
make sure you know where your going
    the humor is good
    as well as it should
but there's more that you should be knowing

I thought the poem was well done. I don't know why it got voted down so low...maybe the people who gave you a low score don't understand formed peotry. It is difficult to follow the rules and have the poem make sense in this type of poetry.5/5 from me.
