Fire raindrops

by kiara   Dec 20, 2006

Fire raindrops patter on the glass
Fire raindrops burn the grass
The clouds swirl with rage
Leaving the picture trapped in a cage
Lighting grumbles from up above
Showing the world its hateful love
Windows smash
Buildings crash
Tearful widows cry out for their lost
As they feel mother natures hand of frost
Echoes of babies wails
Sails threw the pages of traumatized tales
The land is left with haunting shadows
Dancing around daunting men at windows
Left to right they dance in the gloom
Only leaving when a new generation is at bloom
Menâ??s faces are blank
As they hold their pride and act like a tank
Hospital beds are overflowed
Heartless doctors are telling wounded to hit the road
A little girl sits safely and cries
As her world dramatically dies
A puddle of frightful tears
Escapes her eyes without her fears
Teddy was lost in the flames
Just like a thousand other names
Why must death be bestowed on those we love?
Why did teddy get taken up above?
Why didnt fire raindrops take her tears?
Why didnt they burn away her fears?
Because thats all she is left with
Because teddy is now a fire raindrops myth
Sunshine came and sunshine left
But in safety the little girl always wept
