Wish Mistress

by Cooper   Dec 24, 2006

Once upon a dreamy night,
with blank snow fallen thick,
the rosaries polite hands pick,
for the swans whom wade in pools of shooting star fright.
Muted winds drift through whispering woods,
a guide of lover's goods.

And there,
Softly and fleet in twilight and fog,
and delightful aroma striking aflare;
A winged prayer,
gliding mistress alit cloud nine,
To whom I pour my soul and wine.
Vivid among hallow trees,
Her tease fetched atop the breeze.

As the mists drifted her to my arms,
weary and silenced by passionate charms;
Her hair smelt of violet lilacs,
and her crystal eyes glistened 'neath the moon,
Of colors rained in angelic tracks,
the lights of warm tempest June.
Dressed in silver scales,
plucked from the ocean,
shone an essence of devotion,
of what I've heard in lullabies and tales.

In amatory eclipse,
I ascended to taste,
one gentle kiss,
from her precious celestial lips.
Soul, mind, and tongue all in bliss,
even Gods thought such love did not exist.
It's all of Her I can not resist,
with every turn and twist;

And that voice, a soft, tame white tiger's purr,
an appeasing melody from which I cannot deter,
singing me a truth as clear as the Winter's snow,
And such truth be, how I love her so.
