Flying Across The Sea

by Cindy   Dec 26, 2006

Dedicated to my dear friend Mohamed
whom helped me to leave my home
and see a new place, with his words.

I spent the night talking to you,
I could feel you beside me.
Though you were so far away,
A moment in time feeling so free.

We talked of many things,
Places we had been, things we had seen.
Our family, Our friends,
the differences in you and me.

Feeling so young as we talked,
Both of us from different lands.
You described your home to me,
great pyramids, camels and sand.

Getting to see things from your eyes,
showing me your land across the sea.
You, my friend, have given me wings,
allowing me to fly free.
