Daniel.

Daniel Butler.

What's it like to have a friend like you?
Well, it's hard to explain,
but you make all the troubles easy,
and you take away my pain.

With words of wisdom and of love,
you make each day worth seeing,
and with your caring, supporting heart,
you make each day worth breathing.

I know that, alone, you can't be a pillar,
and so when you crack, I'll be your filler.
I'll band-aid wounds, and I'll hold you up
when you feel like you can't be tough.

You're here for me, and so I'm here for you,
because you know that's what friends do.
I'll be by your side when you need me to,
because you'd be here for me if I were blue.

When I fall down, you'll help me stand,
because you're not one to leave one behind.
You offer your heart, along with your hand,
and well, people like you are just hard to find.

Nothing really says how great you are,
or how wonderful it is to know you,
but keep in mind, you're the greatest by far;
the greatest friend, no matter what you do.
