I took him by the hand .. and then
we flew right through the wind .. and went
to walk among the beaches .. through
the waters, so deep,wide and blue

we swam across these oceans .. kept
observing starry skies .. we slept
beneath the milky ways .. so far
above the fancy light ra-dars

he held me close as a breathed .. deep
to realize that I was .. asleep
dreaming merely made me .. lie
awake I sought a lullaby.
