Haunting

by Black night   Jan 16, 2007

*I found this and quite a few others in the back of my old school folder from last year, so its a bit different*

Raindrops
falling on the window
each droplet
winding
its way down the pain of glass

She is there
standing out side
as she always does
haunting me
will she not let me go?

Slowly I turn
but my head will not
my eyes fixed upon her fragile face,
her beauty,
her soft skin.

Everything within me wills her to leave
but every time I look she remains.

I turn to the fire
its heat radiating out
hoping for some warmth
to heat up this coldness
within
this coldness brought
by her in my mind

I watch as the flames
dance in their bed
each spinning
and moving
in their own way

Through the flames
I see those eyes
those beautiful eyes
and can only watch as i see
her face in the fire

Will she never leave me?
Will she never let me be?
I scream at her to go
but i am met with that
same
blank
stare
as she stays
haunting my mind
never letting me go
