Eternally Mine

by Sildaekar   Jan 19, 2007

I sit here,
and stare at you face.
You are my deadly poison,
that leaves without a trace.

I enjoy talking to,
you on the phone.
I wish I could prove,
my heart beats for you alone.

You know how I feel,
and I how you.
But the feelings between us,
no one else has a clue.

The love we share,
though together we'll never be.
Our love is like a great ocean,
or a raging sea.

Though our love is strong,
the confusion is still there,
day after day it's,
pulling our little tear.

If only you would have stayed,
if only we had more time,
then I could hold you close,
and call you eternally mine.

Though what we're doing
may be wrong it feels so right,
to be spending time with you,
to be here tonight.

I could never leave you,
I could never say goodbye,
For if I did,
I would always ask myself "Why?".

Why didn't I stay,
Why couldn't I see the sign,
Why did I never,
call you eternally mine.
