Well, I liked it. Yet, I seen a few things that could change a bit.

To start, it's not always best to have lines go from short to long, unless the rest of the poem is like that..
When I arrive at his home
I knock upon the door
No one seems to be answering
But through the window I see him on the floor.

The last line was a bit long, I think..
Maybe it would be better as..
'In the window I see him on the floor'

Or, something like that.
This was a great poem, and the only 'mistakes' I seen were the short/long lines.
I loved it, and it brought me to tears.
You did a great Job, hun.

Oh my gosh.. this is soo sad.. but i really love it.. its a great poem.. the only sugestion i have to is go through and read it out loud there are some flow problems ... but i could just be reading it wrong.. only you really know so read it out loud and edit what sounds out of place
