Metallic Kiss

by Drew Gold   Jan 24, 2007

Testing limits,
how far would
the earliest memory get
you

and i do too, down the halls
speech. pattern.

reactions, and tactfully placed
in the waiting gap,
a train through the tunnel
rushing within
black outlets fastened
to your personality. yellow blue;
fusing neon green
bruises painfully spreading
breaking open erupting
outward from the remains
of our boken down &
machanically soft lips.

    I like it, but it's kinda confusing. i didn't really understand it. the meaning comes across as clear, but a mystery, withing reach, but too slippery to grasp, if you know what i mean. but other than that, i really liked it.

    You could work on the grammar a bit, like for example:
    i = I
    ..ality. yellow = Yellow

    etc.

    Further on I liked the way you used the colors as an effect. Overall a different lovepoem but interesting. 5/5
