Hello, Summer.

by ALEX   Jan 28, 2007

History to bring a class together.
A past to pull them apart.
Monuments and documents.
A lonely dance of hearts.

Closer for forever.
Come graduation, we'll all cry.
I'll remember you for always.
Until the day I die.

His name will still remind me
Of notes and melodies.
The butteflies I always got.
A million harmonies.

The year's final dance
With me on two crutches.
At last I had the slightest chance
With all my previous crushes.

A long-stemmed carnation.
The sumer began.
No more blue and gold, please.
More like ocean and sand.
