The final phase

by resisting reason   Jan 30, 2007

Its funny to watch
as things fall apart
the end of things starts
people, society, and civilization
will break
entering into the final phase
the end of you
the end of me
the end of everything that breathes
quick and numb
or painful and slow
its the end of everything we know
your mother
your father,
your entire life
cast into the abyss of everlasting night
null and viod of any noise
the only sound is your own voice
alone, fearful, and dead
its funny because its all in your head
a blissful existence
or a burning eternity
neither, only obscurity

    I love this line

"its funny because its all in your head
    a blissful existence
    or a burning eternity
    neither, only obscurity "

this is a really well written poem with a strong and continuous flow. nice.
