you know Ive lost everything i used to hold on to

you know my blackened heart crumbles in to ashes

as the blade in my hand from the light slowly flashes

and shines in the light what a beautiful sight to behold

the prologue to the drama that slowly unfolds

as i cut deeper with each stroke

the scream trapped in my throat

unable to utter the painful words i desperately need to say

i need pain to take the thoughts away

but the flickers of memories of you play in my head

thats why i sit here now bleeding to death on my bed

i look to my pillow stains from previous attempts

scars that have left my soul buckled and bent

and as my life slowly fades to black i slowly realize

that perhaps i could do something with my life

oh-no i think i don't want to die

why did i take it to far with this try

I'm never going to get the chance to say good bye

unless with my bloody wrists on these walls i write
